What does that mean?
Just in case you didn't already know...
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing, send out crawlers, also known as spiders, out into the world wide web and index information that is found on sites like yours. This is how results are provided when you do an internet search. Search Engine Optimization means putting the right information on your site to ensure it is properly indexed in order to appear to your target demographics.
Branding - McDonald's.....what did you think of? The golden arches? Bada ba ba ba, I'm loving it? Ronald McDonald for those that aren't too young? When you brand a cow, you leave a lasting mark. We want to do the same thing to the world with your business, just more humanely. Your logo, a slogan, theme song (think JG Wentworth), your website, your products should all compliment each other to create a united and memorable front.
Target Demographics - these are the people you appeal to. For example, when I owned a gym, my target demographic was men between the ages of 18-45. While our membership pool contained just about every demographic you could imagine, men of that age group were our largest. Therefore, by targeting that demographic, we could reach people that were more likely to join and maintain their membership than any other demographic, providing better quality leads.
Vector Graphic - a graphic created from lines, as opposed to pixels. This allows the graphic to be scaled to any size without distortion.
JPEG (jpg) - Long story short, some fancy stuff happens that allows you to have a graphic that doesn't take up a lot of storage space, but without losing a lot of quality. These are great for online use: social media, email signatures, etc.
PNG - Long story short, again, this type of file can be compressed without losing any quality. It can also be saved with a transparent background.
